Dear Digital.ai Team,
I would like to request the implementation of a new feature in Continuous Testing — the ability to configure and enable the Self-Healing functionality via the User Interface (UI), not only through automation scripts or capabilities (e.g. dc.setCapability("selfHealing", true)).
Currently, as confirmed in ticket #227975, there is no such feature available in the UI. However, enabling this through the interface would significantly increase usability, especially for non-technical QA personnel and for test case maintenance efficiency.
Use Case:
Our testers often run and manage tests manually via the UI and would benefit greatly from being able to toggle Self-Healing without modifying scripts or configurations. This would also make the platform more accessible and user-friendly for broader teams.
Request Summary:
• Add a toggle or configuration setting for enabling/disabling Self-Healing in the test execution UI.
• Optionally, display Self-Healing status (enabled/disabled) clearly in the Test Manager.
Please let me know if any additional details are needed to proceed with this request
For any questions, please contact my supervisor (stephan.pohl@postfinance.ch) as i will be on vacation next 2 Weeks.
