I have several projects - some are solely scrum-based while others are kanban. I have created custom fields for the scrum projects that i am not concerned with in my kanban projects. When i look at the backlog items for each project, the same fields will always be shown. I don't want to see the custom fields for my kanban projects...

  did you already check Administration -> Display fields? You can customize which fields are shown on a per-project base. We are working with different teams (Scrum and Kanban) on the same V1 instance and each team has its own set of fields (and in the case of drop-down lists, its own values to select).

• Jutta is correct in that this can be done using Project Workspaces. The Administration > Display fields page is used for this configuration.
