We would like use our project hierarchy to track a product at the top level and to track the different contracts/customers that fund changes to that product at the lower level. The difficulty with this is that we can't bundle a set of changes for the product prompted by different customers in a single sprint. We would like to be able to create a sprint against the product project (widget A) at the top level and to include backlog items from the child projects (customer A, customer B, etc.) in that sprint. I hope I'm wrong and that this capability already exists, but it doesn't appear to.
