Freeze top header bar (similar to excel) so users can see the labels for the different columns (such as Backlogm None, In Progress, Completed)

Similar idea for other grids (e.g. Sprint Planning, Baclog etc): Freeze buttons as well. If you have a large number of entries in your grid, you always have to scroll up / down to reach the buttons.
good luck doing this in HTML. But would be nice. Just don't clog up the view of the screen with frames.
It would be very helpful to have the header freeze.
I've received a lot of requests for this from teams with multiple swim lanes.
This seems like it would be a basic feature that would have been added a long time ago.
Freezing the row for the column headers will be a great feature enhancements so that the user can easily see the header for the drop and drag mouse effect.
So when will this be fixed by version 1?
So, when is version 1 fixing this?
This suggestion is duplicated with "Scrollable Views w/ Frozen Column Headings"
My alternate option / recommendation for this would be to put the status on the vertical separator, similar to the way you put the "Project Name" on the EPIC Timeline. This would still allow teams to know which lane the task or story is in.
How complicated is this to fix? Please look into this? It is really annoying to not see what column your story is at when you need to scroll down. And if you add a fix to the scrolling capabilities as well, please do
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! The story board headers are now locked to the top. As you scroll down, the headers move up as if they were to disappear off the top of the page, but they stop at the top and the rest of the board (all the stories) scroll underneath them.
This task has been open for a while, and I just wanted you to know that I very much appreciate you resolving this request.

Here's a sample of how to do this with jQuery:

It will be great to have Top header bar.
Isn't this the same as this request:
