I need a place to be able to store wireframes, screenshots, manuals, and other things that can easily get lost (by developers) by being attached to stories.

• The original poster is saying that just attaching them to a backlog item may result in it getting 'lost.'
  
  What is needed is a 'view all attachments' somewhere, that lets you see all of the documents and which stories, tasks, or tests they are associated with. This lets you search for the document that you KNOW is in there, but you just don't know which story it was attached to.

• You can have a backlog item labeled - "Project Documents" and this backlog Item can float from Sprint to Sprint with all docs attached to it..
