It would be a great usability feature to enable users to quickly see what options are available under each tab without having to click into the tab. This would make learning V1 much faster and easier. Basically, use DHTML to highlight a tab that is being hovered over and display the submenu options that are available under that tab. Not only does it improve the learning curve, it would allow for much quicker navigation by enabling users to go directly to a sub menu under a different tab.

Drop-down menus have been introduced in the Spring 2011 release. These allow you to explore the different pages of the application by simply hovering over their primary menu. This also allows faster access to second-level navigation pages.
