When exporting backlog items to Excel, all text fields are formatted as "Text". This idea sort of makes sense, except that in larger fields, the cell appears with all symbols (i.e. "##############") instead of the actual text. The value in the field is correct, but it will not display, even if you enlarge the column width. The only step that will correct the problem is to change the format from "Text" to "General".
Also, FYI, we recently upgraded from 8.1x to 9.0x.
