Indicate when an item contains an attachment by placing an indicator on the tab. For example, the tab currently says "Attachments" and if you had attached 3 files to this item it would read "Attachments (3)".

The same could be done for Relationships, Links and Discussions.

• I'd find that usefull. We make fairly sparse use of links & discussions on stories. Any visual indication on the tab that there was anything present at all would be a big help. Without it, why enter a (rare) discussion, when no one is likely to look for it? Counts would help good, because one could then recognise tabs with more than our usual one link.

• The Detail View was redesigned in the Spring 2011 to include a new relationship summary bar shows the existing relationships and their counts at the top of an item's Detail View.
