This will help refine ideas after submission as well keep track of them.

  • I agree. Perhaps a "My Ideas" tab for that, alongside the other filtering tabs.

  • There is a "My Votes" tab that appears when you are logged in to list all of the items you've voted for. This is the place you can go to quickly check on these items that are important to you.

  • I was talking about https://ideaspace.versionone.com / this site. I think you might be talking about the integrated version from within V1.

  • Ideaspace does have a My Votes tab when you are logged in to Ideaspace.

Marking this as Planned as we will be working on a feature to allow users a *limited time* to go back in and refine an idea (fix typos, clarify wording, etc.) after it has been created. Once the idea is out there and starts attracting votes and commentary, it really needs to be refined through the comments rather than by going back and changing the original core content. We want to provide voters with the confidence that the idea they're supporting won't be switched into something completely different.

  • would a Version One user be able to edit a submission by an Ideas user?

  • The Fall '09 Release (and Ideaspace, which has been upgraded) now provides a 20 minute window where the user who submitted an idea can update that idea. That will allow for the correction of typos or updates to clarify the intent of the idea. Beyond that point, any necessary additions can be made via comments.
