Add a numeric field for ranking user stories. The ability to drag/drop the stories on the backog to rank them would still exist, and would update these numbers. The reason it would be of value to have this field is that sometimes it would be easier to rank stories if i could type the number, and that would move it up or down in the list. The scenario of where this would help is if i had a lot of user stories on my backlog (currently i have 200) i would be able to move them from ranking 10 to 70 for example without having to drag all the way down the list. The problem with dragging is i have to get it exactly between the lines for it to move, and sometimes that doesnt happen so i have to start all over. It makes it very cumbersome for me as the product owner to have to move this many stories around if i keep having to try it over and over again.

Hi and thank you for your idea. We feel the same way and are in favor of adding this feature into VersionOne. We will be looking into adding it to our product in the next few releases. Thanks!
Awesome - thank you so much for your support! I look forward to the change!
We have now added the ability to numerically rank Portfolio and Backlog Items via the Order column by simply entering a number to designate the ranking order. This enhancement was delivered in the Spring 16.1.1 release (https://community.versionone.com/Release-Notes-and-Downloads/Spring_2016_Release_Notes/Spring_2016_Point_Release_%231_-_Build_16.1.1.225)
