Programs are available in a few reports. There is not a way to select the program for detail backlog item and epics that are contained in the Program. I would like the ability to select a program and have a listed view for Backlog Items and Defects, and Epics.

This is done by applying a program filter in the Project Navigator (where you select a new project). Use the Project Tree view and you'll see the ability to apply project filters, including a Program filter, that will be applied to the backlog, epic or any other planning view you use.
