At the moment there are two levels to take you to the view you want.
At the top level you have the buttons - Product planning, release planning etc and then you have the sub-layer of tabs e.g. Stories & Defects, Goals etc
I don't like the usability of this - I frequently find that I want to go between views and have to go through a view I don't want just to get there.
For example - going from iteration planning / detail planning to say Product planning / Epics. You only go straight there if Epics was the last thing you used under product planning. Usually I find myself detouring through stories and defects and with the update time, this is annoying.
Can we have drop-down menus so we can go straight to the view we want?
It would also have been REALLY useful when I was new to versionOne, as I didnt' readily know which sub-level items went with which top level button. It was trial and error trying to find anything.

Drop-down menus have been introduced in the Spring 2011 release. These work exactly as you've requested.
