Jira has a very clean Timeline view that displays Features and Stories in the same list view (similar to our Portfolio Tree), however in Jira, dependencies are visually displayed in this same view (via colored arrows indicating downstream or upstream dependencies like in Agility). In Agility, there is a board view to view dependencies at the Portfolio Item level and a board view to view dependencies at the User Story level, but there's not a single view that shows this information in combined view.

Having this type of view helps with PI planning, the hierarchical linkage between Features and User Stories combined with user story dependencies can help slot user stories into appropriate iterations within a PI. Separate boards (as in Agility) makes this planning more difficult.
