Currently the categories for events are Day Off and Other. We have found benefit in adding things such as key dates for deliverables to ensure all team members can easily view deadlines, our sprint start dates to have a clear visual on where time off falls in the sprint, and work anniversaries or other celebratory dates to foster collaboration and community. These things would all fall under the Other category, and all show as grey events on the calendar, yet are different types of events. The option to have at least a third category, which should show as a different color on the calendar, to choose from would help give a clearer picture off all types of events that are important to everyone on the team.
