While my team was working out dependent stories using the Dependency Board, someone made that comment how nice it would be to do something like right click a story and add a dependency rather than open the story, remember the other story's number to look up, and then close then story again.
Some kind of easier workflow would be nice when using the Dependency Board. Maybe that would look like clicking a story to select it and then clicking another story and setting a dependency one way or the other. Or if that's too volatile, maybe the user can toggle an "easy mode" which would allow stories to be dragged onto each other to make dependencies without moving the stories elsewise.
Other ideas would be fine too, just something easier than the opening stories individually and having to remember how to look up the stories to be linked.
