It would be helpful if there was a pop-up or warning message when a user selects Copy for a portfolio item. The pop-up and/or warning message should let the user know they are about to copy the selected portfolio item as well as any child items aligned to the portfolio item. It might even be helpful if the pop-up or warning message included a count of the child items to be copied.
Implementing this idea will prevent situations where users really intend to use the Create From function, but have incorrectly selected the Copy function. This idea would avoid the need to delete large numbers of child items accidently created by high level parent portfolio items, when the user really intended to duplicate only a single portfolio item.
