For users of the Hosted version of V1, it is currently not possible to modify the system time which is set to Easter Standard Time, US.
Hosted users should be allowed to change their system time config, viewing that not all users are based in the US.
Thanks,
Luis

Being able to use the local time on the records we create is very important to us here at Tideworks.

I think a big reason why you may not be getting as many votes for this item is that there are many of your users that are in the Eastern Time Zone. So, when you are deciding what to implement, please weight this item appropriately. Thanks.
I agree Rich.
I agree too!
Yes - this surely must be simple for you to do too! And Rich is absolutely right - this will never get as many votes as other issues due to the number of people it affects being far smaller but this is a very significant issue for us.
It makes the time stamp history useless for us.
Thanks!
I think part of the problem is that there's another item that covers basically the same functionality - Allow and Administrator to set the system time-stamp or time zone. If these two were combined the ranking would be much higher.
I agree, our host is in the U.S. Central Time zone and we work in the U.S. Pacific Time zone. It would be nice to at least have a line item in the Header Information tab to include the Time Zone so at least we know that it's not local time. I would prefer VersionOne use UTC time and display that or use UTC and allow selection of your time zone.
This is vital - it's not just a "oh the time is wrong" problem - when you're in New Zealand - it's actually the DAY that's wrong too. - EST is SEVENTEEN HOURS BEHIND New Zealand time
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider adding this option - your tagline is "Agile made easier" - forcing us into US Eastern Time when you live in New Zealand doesn't make it particularly easy...
The impact to teams in Australia and Asia Pac is to lose a day of burndown reporting throughout the sprint. We have two week sprints, this is 10% of the time.
As of the Fall 2013 release, administrators may configure the system timezone in hosted and locally installed instances such that timestamps and sprint boundaries match their organization's environment. By default, the instance will continue to use the server's timezone setting until a VersionOne administrator overrides with this new in-app configuration.
