As we use the discussions to stories also for collaboration between business and IT, we have to make them read only. We have to avoid that people create discusssion-entries and then later change them.

• I like this idea, but perhaps allow editing for a limited time: like IdeaSpace, only 20 minutes after the post is created; or like some web bulletin boards that allows edits until someone replies to your post.

• This was delivered as part of the Discussion functionality upgrade to Conversations. Conversations do not allow an existing entry to be changed.
