Have more categories than just Design, Code and Admin for Tasks, and also enable reportability on tasks (and categories) by user by sprint / release. This would help run a report to see how many analysis vs documentation vs coding vs admin tasks a resource has worked. This would be valuable for the resource as well as management to help in times of appraisal or calibration.

the categories being the field TYPE under Tasks..few other types that we see value are "Analysis", "Documentation", "Configuration/Installation"
You can add that yourself under the Admin tab.
Go to 'Admin' area, 'List Types' tab, and 'Task' subtab. 'Task Status' contains the items. If you're in 10.2 Enterprise or Ultimate edition then you can customize these per project via Project Workspaces in the Admin | Display Fields.
