The release planning page apparently shows releases ordered alphabetically. This gets very confusing when there are more than three or four releases. Releases should be displayed chronologically, just like sprints are displayed on the sprint planning page.

• I would like to be able to control the order to look at start date or release date to allow for different views of the releases. But I completely agree that an alphabetically sort on chronological data is "silly". I should not have to name release A-name, B-name, C-name to get the order I want.

• This was implemented in the Release Scheduling redesign in Winter '14. Release order now goes by date rather than alphabetical listing.
