I would like the ability to order the columns in a grid either with drag-n-drop or in the existing Customize screen.

Grid columns are sometimes not in a helpful order, especially for custom data (these appear to be sorted alphabetically). I would like a mechanism to order them left-to-right. Columns should come up in the same order each time I enter the particular grid view.

• This feature is available in the customize screen. It is not obvious but you can drag and drop a column in customize to make change its order.

• As pointed out in the previous comment (thanks Bryan!), it is possible to change column order within the grid customization page. The order of the columns on the grid is represented by the order of the rows in the Customize page; re-order the rows via drag & drop to create a new column order in your grid.
