I have more than one team supporting the same backlog of work but they have different WIP limits for each team. I'd like to customize the WIP limits by Team instead of it applying to all teams.

I agree we also have multiple teams and with the VersionOne Enterprise additions WIP limits at the project level don't work well. However, this modification should not only allow for defintion of WIP limits at the team level it should also calculate the warning at the team level rather than also as the project level as is done today.
TeamRooms provide a unique scope of board settings that support different WIP limits for different teams on the same project. Effectively doing this simply involves assigning backlog items to teams then setting up different TeamRooms for each of those teams. Within each TeamRoom you may change board settings, including WIP limits, and those changes will only apply to their TeamRoom.
