We need to be able to add a template to an existing defect. Right now, I can use the Plan Backlog Item to copy tests and tasks from a template to an existing backlog item. We need the same control for copying tests and tasks from a template to an existing defect.

• As a workaround I generate a Backlog Item from a Request, Plan the Backlog Item, then "convert" it to a Defect.

• It would be very helpful to be able to apply templates to existing user stories without being in te sprint planning workspace. it would also be helpful to be able to do this for defects in general.

• Yes please! Defect records still suffer from usability issues like this and not having a "Plan Backlog Item" UI like Stories have.
