To avoid that we get delays in our releases, there are some manual tasks and gates in our XLR releases which have to be completed within a few hours. But if these tasks get started in the late afternoon the reminders are sent during the night (or much worse on weekends, when the task is started on Friday afternoon). Of course our colleagues complain about this behavior.
For this reason, we would like to be able to define official working hours for the company (e.g. Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm). The calculation of the due date should respect these times and send reminders only during the working hours.
Examples:
If a task is started on Friday at 3:00pm and the duration is set to 1 day the due date should be the next Monday at 3:00pm
If a task is started on Friday at 3:00pm and the duration is set to 4 hours the due date should be the next Monday at 10:00am.

If one could add/predefine
-the regional (banking) holidays,
-downtime time-windows (timely exceptions)
that would enhance the real-life usability, too.
Thanks for the feature request!
Allowing for periods when you do not wish tasks to execute or notifications to be sent is what we had in mind when we created the blackouts feature. More information:

E.g., for some critical tasks you could specify not to start them between early Friday afternoon to early morning on Monday. Any other bank holidays could be marked as well.
It is also possible to create them programmatically through the YAML template definition. More information:
