It would be great to add the possibility to select multiple objects in Release UI so the end user can delete multiple objects at once from the UI. For example in the template UI, if I have 20 templates in a folder and if I want to delete 10 of them, I need to proceed one by one which is quite time consuming. Same for release flow UI if I want to delete multiple tasks / phases at once ...

We would treat these as two distinct requests:
1/ Request for a bulk delete feature for templates within folders:
Some of our customers utilize Folder versioning and manage templates through YAML. If there is still interest in having a user interface (UI) version of this feature, we will consider it during our page redevelopment using React technology. Please note that we do not have a specific timeline for this implementation, and it may also depend on the number of upvotes from users.
2/ Bulk delete functionality for phases and tasks is already available. To access it, navigate to the release, click on the Table view (located next to the default Flow view), and then select "Delete" from the "More Actions" menu.
