We have occasional users that we disable when inactive for some time for security reason. When disabling a user in Release, the user will no longer receive notifications. It would be great to have an option to allow to maintain notifications even for disabled users

In general, our belief is that if a user is disabled, they should not receive notifications.
- As an alternative, one can create a Global-level Role and assign users who should receive notifications but shouldn't be able to log in. Under Global level settings, navigate to Permissions -> Login permission, and assign this role. Users belonging to this role will receive notifications but won't have login access.
- Another option is to consistently assign tasks to the team rather than individual users to ensure notifications are not overlooked.
The first alternative is not really useful. Because users who have no login permission are count as active users.
