Hello,
When we want to use attributes, we have to set :
* Application
* Environment
* Version
Quickly we will want to put variables in these 3 fields.
The problem is that for environments and applications, you have to put the IDs of the objects.
As an administrator, you can only:
* propose a global variable containing a correspondence between "name" and "ID" for ENV & APP
* ask users to run a Jython task at the start of the phase to retrieve the IDs of their objects.
It's a very painful method. We would need to be able to set the names of the objects directly into variables, this would be much more meaningful for users.
This greatly slows down the use of attributes by my users.
Regards,
Jeremy

We intend to enhance the integration of Application and Environment attributes in the Release product during the Fuji release timeframe. This request will be carefully evaluated within that framework, and we will closely monitor upvotes from the wider user base.
If we decide to include it or require alignment with additional details, updates on this idea will be provided.
