Thank you for suggesting this idea. The "Last active" date is currently accessible on the User management page.
Could you please elaborate on how you would utilize the Created date to identify users for removal? We would greatly appreciate hearing about specific use cases and collecting upvotes from our user base.
Currently, we rely on the "Last active" date to identify inactive users, but this approach has limitations. For instance, a user might not have logged in for a while, but their account was created recently, indicating they might still be in the onboarding process. On the other hand, an account created a long time ago with no recent activity is more likely to be abandoned.
Having the creation date would allow us to implement a more nuanced purge strategy, considering both the age of the account and its activity level. For example, we could set up rules like:
Accounts created more than 6 months ago with no activity in the last 3 months are candidates for removal.
Accounts created less than 3 months ago, regardless of activity, are exempt from removal to allow for onboarding.
This approach would help ensure that we're not accidentally removing accounts that are still in the process of being set up or are temporarily inactive due to legitimate reasons. It would also help in maintaining a cleaner and more accurate user database, reducing unnecessary storage and improving overall system efficiency.
I believe this feature would be beneficial not just for our organization but for any user of Digital.ai Release looking to manage their user base more effectively. I look forward to seeing this idea gather support from the community.
