The current VSTS plugin's QueueBuild task API does not support parameters. The existing Release task for QueueBuild corresponds to the older Build section in Azure DevOps, utilizing the Build - APIs internally. However, Azure DevOps has since moved Builds under a broader Pipelines section and now uses the new Pipeline APIs for these operations.

We will be working on upgrading this plugin and will incorporate this request as well. The changes are expected to be available by the end of October.
