during template creation, it would be more efficient to have the list of tasks down one of the sides and to be able to just grab and drag them onto the template. i.e. think of being able to grab items from the left onto the template.
This would be much simpler than the current multi-step of click "add task", "filter list", then "click add".

Thank you for the suggestion.
In the 24.3 release just now, we introduced a new method for adding tasks, which allows you to search by task type for quicker addition. You can find more details here:

It also supports hotkeys (ESC to close, TAB to move to the next field, and Enter to add the task)
Would this approach work for your needs, or are you looking for something else?
