A user uses 'Filter by title' to search/ filter the template with a specific name. He completes his activity and the session has expired.
He comes back and creates a new session after around 2 hours to find 'Filter by title' text still filled in.
Same is the scenario if he comes back after 2 days or 10 days.
There are 2 things that I can think of:
1. Provide a button 'Clear Filter'. Should be enabled only when there are any filters are applied. If no filters are applied then the button should be frozen. This is an indication to users about any filters being applied or not.
2. Every time a session times out, you can clear the filter. So, the user will have to apply the filters again when a new session is initiated.
This eases the users ability to understand if any filters are applied when they are navigating through various folders.
