From support Request #222141 - There is currently no way to create a release in Octopus Deploy for a project that has the deployment process as config-as-code. This has been a feature in Octopus Deploy for quite some time, additional arguments will be needed to support these projects.

Thank you for the request. We are planning to investigate the implementation required for this request in Q1 2025 and will provide updates on our findings in this thread.
With many ongoing requests, we are planning to share an update for this request in Q2, 2025.
