Dear Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
I would like to bring to your attention an issue raised by our users regarding the new Task Drawer functionality introduced from version 24.3.x. onwards, In the previous version (24.1.12), we were using the old task model (please refer to Image 1), which allowed us to easily select multiple servers at once, as well as choose multiple substrings simultaneously in XL-Release's Testlab servers view.
With the retirement of the old task model in version 24.x.x, the new Task Drawer has been implemented. However, we have received feedback from users indicating that the new interface requires manual selection of servers during runtime. For environments with 30 or 40 servers, this manual process has become time-consuming and inefficient.
Given the above, we are exploring possible solutions to re-enable or improve this feature in future releases. Specifically, we would appreciate it if a more user-friendly navigation option could be introduced, allowing for the selection of multiple servers (and substrings) more easily, as was possible in the previous version.
We would appreciate any insights or updates on the feasibility of incorporating this functionality into future releases.
Thanks
Raveendra

Thank you for the feedback. We will update the component behavior to support filtering and selecting all or multiple options. This is planned for a 25.1.x maintenance release in early 2026, and we’ll update this thread and the release notes once the exact version is confirmed.
Hi Team,
Thanks for the response,
It would be very helpful for us if this feature could also be made available in the 25.3.x versions.
Based on the release notes, 25.3.x is a major version that includes Java 21 and requires plugin upgrades to support Java 21. Since we may choose to proceed with major upgrades rather than minor patch updates in the future, having this feature available in 25.3.x would be greatly beneficial.
Thank you for your understanding.
Best Regards
Raveendra
