1 Process
1.1 ASIS: As per the current settings one could change the system configuration with multiple steps and not only via GUI.
1.2 TOBE: Please, make sure that the following system states will be introduced and the associated processes+events:
1.2.1 Processes: starting the system, stopping/suspending the system (sense-check needed: installing implying restart)
1.2.2 Events: started, stopped (sense-check needed: installed implying restart)
1.2.3 States: system starting, system stopping/suspending (sense-check needed: installing implying restart)
2 Proposed best practice to be checked for further utilization at least on logical level:
-(jenkins_url)/safeRestart - Allows all running jobs to complete. New jobs will remain in the queue to run after the restart is complete.
3 Security consideration: as this is a system-level setup the steps should be conducted only by authenticated/authorized user.
4 Proposed setup

-GUI (if possible)
5 Summary
The proposed solution would finalize every running process/task and would prevent any unexpected interruptions.
