Is it possible to have the Read or View permission for connections in Teams and permissions.
All other parameters have this right except the connections section.
To allow users of this right to check that the parameters of a connection are correct.

Thank you for the suggestion. We don’t have a specific reason why this isn’t available, and there haven’t been many requests for it so far. We’ve noted the need and will continue to monitor the upvotes.
We are evaluating changes for Connections, and have few follow up questions about the use case:
1. Would you need the View permission for connections at the folder level only, or at the global level as well?
Currently, global connections can only be managed by administrators. Would you also like non-admin users to be able to view global connections?
2. Can you help us understand who would typically get this permission? For example, would this be given broadly to all team members so they can verify connection settings, or just to a few specific people like team leads?
3. When you say "check that the parameters of a connection are correct," what would you typically be reviewing? For example, would it be enough to see things like the host URL, port, username, and project name? Sensitive fields like passwords and API tokens are always masked in the system and are never shown in plain text - even to users who have edit permissions. Would seeing all non-sensitive fields be sufficient for your use case?
4. Would you also need the ability to test a connection (e.g., a "Test connection" button) without being able to edit it?Or would simply viewing the configuration details be enough?s
Hi,
1) We would need the view permission for connections at the folder level only.
2) Like other directory permission rights: Teams and users.
3) For us the Sensitive fields like passwords and API tokens are always masked in the system by ****** or .....
4) Godd question : it is possible the ability to test a connection
