Currently, teams using Digital.ai Release face challenges in securely managing and automating secrets (e.g., passwords, API keys, certificates) within release pipelines. This idea proposes native integration with HashiCorp Vault Entreprise to enable:
Centralized storage of sensitive variables in Vault.
Automated retrieval and updates of secrets during pipeline execution.
This integration will reduce manual errors, enhance security, and streamline DevOps workflows by leveraging Vault’s robust secret management capabilities.
